I enjoyed your performance as an Ohioan snowstorm tonight, but as a devout fan of amateur theatre, I’ve decided to provide you with a couple of tips to increase the believability of your next performance:
- It is generally considered poor form to drop entire snowballs at a time; instead, consider individual flakes. As a guideline, if the snow formations you are dropping make soft ‘thump’ sounds as they land, they’re too large. Aim for a gentle whisper.
- While it is certainly possible for a snowstorm to drop an eighth of an inch of snow in three minutes, it is fairly uncommon in Ohio. In tonight’s show, this may have had something to do with the size of your ‘snowflakes’.
Again, while I enjoyed your robust performance, I think you might benefit from some time spent in Alaska or elsewhere in the Arctic or Antarctic Circle. Please visit Ohio again when you’ve had some time to hone and mellow your acting skills!
Sincerely,
Jonas
