There is a trans*-friendly candidate. His name is Gary Johnson, he’s running as a Libertarian, and he’s to the left of Obama on most social issues, including trans* rights and marriage equality. But unless you tell other people about him, and get them excited, and you’re willing to work to make sure he gets some votes, he’s not going to get elected.

It’s also possible that Roseanne (yes, that Roseanne), who’s running for the Green Party nomination is trans*-friendly. I just have a much harder time taking her seriously than Gary Johnson, who actually has political and executive experience, and who—unless Ron Paul decided to bail on his quest for the Republican nomination—pretty much has the Libertarian ticket sewn up.
