Oh, I’m just so pleased to be used as a fear inducer by a prominent Republican. Especially since apparently freedom of conscience doesn’t figure into Newt’s idea of “what it once meant to be an American”.

How is it that this sanctimonious Pillsbury mascot who has at least twice defiled the “sanctity” of marriage, and who thinks the governor who called out the National Guard to prevent nine children from going to school was in the right, gets to make fear-mongering, othering comments about atheists and LGBTQ people? And perhaps more importantly, why, when he does so while running for president, is he reported as anything other than the radical un-American, anti-Constitution, opportunistic religious bigot he has shown himself to be?
