Social networking isn’t the next big thing. With Oprah joining Twitter and Ashton Kutcher reaching a million followers, and TV shows like Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse dropping names like Facebook and YouTube once a week (check out this past Friday’s episode if you don’t believe me), social networking is the big thing right now. It’s obvious how celebrities and media...

An Interesting Year
It’s funny how I never realize until just before something ends exactly how wonderful it’s been. Watching Bridge on the River Kwai tonight opened me up to a pile of emotions I hadn’t even been aware were bearing down on me. I can’t imagine not being here next year. I can’t imagine not going to Oberlin College anymore. This has been my life for the last four years,...

Amazon is fail - boycott effective immediately →
iomoth: Amazon removed hundreds of books with LGBT content from their sales rankings and search, claiming “adult content” as the reason, but they haven’t touched the hetero romance books. I, for one, am boycotting Amazon unless they reverse their epic bigotry fail. (info @ link) This is not acceptable.

Versioning
How would you change your version number over time? Mine would go something like this: Version 0.1:First release. Point updates included basic speaking and walking capabilities and motor skills. Version 0.5:Improvements included basic social skills and the twin urges to kiss girls and read books. Version 0.7:Ability to read large books (like The Hobbit) very quickly introduced. Unfortunately,...
