Washington station airs bare breast self-exams →
The fact that this constitutes “news” is just absurdly stupid. The fact that there’s a controversy over it beggars belief.

Kindle for PC →
Goodness, but Amazon’s been slow with the Kindle. Did it seriously take them until B&N announced their similar platform and there are rumours of Apple joining the fray for them to realise they should have PC (and Mac, yes, it’s on the way)-based software? Yes. The answer to that question is yes. Amazon really doesn’t deserve to win this war.

Rob Enderle is a madman
This is likely to point with Apple this month as they sit stunned that Windows 7 is doing so well and they are left looking foolish with products priced out of the segment. Their big news this week was a couple of PCs, a new keyboard and a multi-touch mouse. This last will likely go down in history as one of the lamest devices yet as they should know, given the iPhone, that touch is connected...

Sony announces Reader Daily Edition, free library... →
taylorcarrigan: chartier: Awesome concept from Sony: same $300 price as a Kindle, and you get free 3G service for downloading books. The kicker: Sony is partnering with big libraries to provide a book rental system, not a purchase system. You can “check out” books for free for 29 days.
